At National Public School, Kengeri, children learn by doing. One way of fostering this is through group activities wherein the students come together in pairs or small groups to prepare charts, collages and similar projects related to their learning. Skits are all a part of the group activities that encourage team spirit, co-operation, group dynamics and a sense of loyalty and responsibility.
At our institution, we place a strong emphasis on providing our students with a well-rounded education, with particular attention to the acquisition and mastery of the languages. To achieve this, we have carefully selected a series of textbooks tailored to the developmental stages of our students. These textbooks not only cater to their linguistic needs but also foster a deeper understanding of Kannada and Hindi culture, literature, and heritage. KANNADA
For our young learner’s inpre-primary levels, we rely on the Kannada Koumudi textbook series. Designed to lay a solid foundation in the Kannada language,
Building upon the foundation established by Kannada Koumudi, the Savi Kannada series caters to students inprimary classes. This textbook series employs a more structured approach delving deeper into the language learning.
As our students progress through the upper grades, we introduce them to the Siri Kannada series, specially curated for middle & higher secondary classes. This advanced textbook series is designed to enhance the proficiency and versatility of our students in the Kannada language.
HINDI
The Sunahri Dhoop textbook series is the cornerstone of our Hindi curriculum, catering to students from primary to middle classes. These meticulously designed textbooks employ a holistic approach, integrating engaging stories, poems, and exercises to develop a strong foundation in the Hindi language.
Along with the Sunahri Dhoop series, we utilize the ‘Grammar book –“Mein aur Mera Vyakaran’ supplementary textbooks for primary & middle classes. These books serve as invaluable resources for Hindi grammar.

Mathematics
The Maths Steps textbook series serves as the bedrock of mathematical learning for our young scholars in primary level. These meticulously designed books follow a progressive approach, introducing fundamental mathematical concepts in a structured and engaging manner.
As students’ progress to middle classes, we introduce them to the renowned textbook, “Mathematics” by R S Aggarwal. This widely acclaimed series is tailored to provide a more comprehensive understanding of mathematics, covering a wide range of topics from algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to statistics and probability. R S Aggarwal’s approach combines conceptual clarity with practical problem-solving skills, preparing students for the more advanced mathematical concepts they will encounter in their academic journey.
