Onam Celebration

The spirit of Onam came alive at National Public School, Kengeri, Bengaluru, as the Grade 9 students came together to celebrate one of Kerala’s most cherished festival, “Onam” in the last week of August, 2026. Onam is not merely a festival of flowers, feasts and festivities; it is a celebration of unity, equality, prosperity, gratitude and the spirit of togetherness. The Onam celebration, organised by the students under the theme “The Spirit of Onam,” beautifully highlighted the true essence of the festival. The programme reminded us that the spirit of Onam lies in creating a society where everyone is welcomed, respected and treated equally.
