| Children imagined themselves and drew the pictures of Earth. They also spoke how to avoid pollution to save Earth. They realized the beauty of nature and importance of Earth. | ||

| OBJECTIVE | To know relevant information about the different kinds of birds. | |
| Students collected pictures and relevant information about different kinds of birds. They presented on a chart paper collectively as a group activity. | ||

| ACTIVITY | Collage work – Endangered species | |
| OBJECTIVE | To understand the worldwide conservation and ranking system. | |
| Students were divided into groups. They collected the pictures of various animals and prepared the collage work in their own pattern. Students coordinated with each other in colouring, cutting pictures etc. Students were able to understand the worldwide conservation and ranking system. Students were able to infer that 40% of world’s species are estimated to be at the risk of extinction. | ||
