National Public School, Kengeri hosted an intensive workshop focused on “Decoding Classroom Behaviour with Empathy” and “Action Research and Design Thinking for School Leaders.” The workshop aimed to equip educators and school leaders with practical insights and strategies to enhance classroom dynamics and foster innovative thinking.
The workshop began with Ms. Manvitha Masgode’s session on empathy in problem-solving and effective communication. She emphasized empathy as a cornerstone for building meaningful relationships and driving innovation. Using compelling examples, she illustrated how empathetic understanding can lead to creative solutions in educational settings.
Dr. Vivekanandda then delved into the principles of Action Research and Design Thinking, stressing its structured approach to problem-solving. He highlighted the iterative process of empathizing with user needs, ideating solutions, prototyping, and iterating based on feedback. His session included engaging case studies to demonstrate the transformative potential of design thinking in educational leadership.
Ms. Yamini Gowda P.C. also delved into the nuances of understanding classroom behaviour through empathy.
