Assessment & Evaluation

Grade 1 and 2 of foundational stage and grades 3 to 6 of preparatory stage are subjected to monthly reviews.

These assessments, based on monthly segments covered throughout the course, provide a comprehensive snapshot of the child’s grasp and retention of the curriculum. At the end of the year, an evaluation of these monthly reviews aids in assessing the child’s overall performance and their readiness for the next grade.

Middle School Stage:

Starting from class 6 (middle school), the school adopts a semester system. The academic year is divided into two terms, each comprising two periodic tests, subject enrichment activity and one semester examination.

Secondary School stage:

Secondary stage classes of grade 9 & 10 has periodic test, Multiple Assessment Subject Enrichment Activity (SEA), portfolio and Final Examination.

Grade 11 and 12: Unit Test, Half Yearly Examination and Final examination.

 Senior Secondary Stage class curriculum also involves, practical, projects, and viva. Class rankings are determined using a nine-point scale. In language subjects, evaluation encompasses comprehension, oratory and recitation skills, classroom participation, teamwork, and leadership qualities, among other criteria.
