Career Orientation on Design

“Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.” – Steve Jobs

Career Orientation on Design - Grade 11 & 12

A Design and Architecture Seminar was conducted for the students of Grades XI and XII on 3 June 2026. The programme was attended by the Principal, Vice Principal, and students. The session was led by Mrs Rachel Shibani, Founder and Creative Director of My Master’s Strokes, a premier coaching institute for aspiring designers and architects.

During the 45-minute seminar, Mrs Shibani highlighted the vast opportunities available in the fields of Design and Architecture. She introduced students to prestigious entrance examinations such as NID, UCEED, and NATA, and explained the academic pathways and career prospects associated with them. Emphasising the growing demand for creative professionals, she encouraged students to explore careers that align with their interests and talents.

The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and seeking guidance on subject selection, preparation strategies, and future opportunities. Mrs Shibani addressed their queries and shared practical insights on building a successful career in creative fields.

The seminar helped students gain awareness of diverse career paths in Design and Architecture, develop clarity regarding subject selection, and build confidence to pursue creative careers without confusion. The programme was both informative and inspiring to all participants.
