
A Capacity Building Programme on Art Integrated Learning was conducted on 13th May 2026 at National Public School, Kengeri, Bengaluru. The session was led by resource persons Mr. Umesha A and Ms. N Shakila. The programme focused on integrating art with classroom teaching to make learning more engaging, experiential, and meaningful for students.
The workshop emphasized the importance of creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and active participation in the teaching-learning process. Teachers from different subjects participated enthusiastically and explored innovative ways to connect art with academics.
The objectives of the Programme were to understand the concept and importance of Art Integrated Learning, to promote experiential and joyful learning in classrooms, to encourage creativity and innovation in teaching methods, to enhance students’ critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The programme helped the participants gain practical knowledge about Art Integrated Learning, understand innovative classroom strategies, develop creative lesson ideas for different subjects, recognize the role of art in holistic development and improve engagement and participation among students.
