The Hindi club was formed to work for the progress of Hindi language, to create interest in the student for the language and to encourage their creativity in oral and writing skills. This club provided opportunities for the interaction between the learner and the teacher which is vital for making learning of the language easier and enjoyable. The importance of Hindi arises from the realization that it can provide greater scope for job opportunities. Proficiency in Hindi is the basic requirement for students.

All the Hindi club students and teachers were required to meet once in a week and converse in Hindi language. One of our club activities was a skit based on water conservation “Jal Hee Jeevan Hai”. All the students participated with great enthusiasm and interest. Few students took part in writing thescript, few acted in it and few prepared the charts & props for the skit.

Activities were also held to celebrate important days like Hindi diwas for enrichment of Hindi language. Thesecelebrations are designed to develop vocabulary, fluency in the language, familiarize learners with linguistic expression, and sharpen creativity and bigger logical thinking.

To fulfill this aim and ambition, our club teachers have contributed a lot in this direction. My own feeling towards the whole event is magnificent and all of us enjoyed it thoroughly.
