Holistic development of a child happens when they are exposed to the knowledge beyond their text books. This was the main objective of creating Kannada club at NPS.This club aimed at co-ordinating different age group children to work for a single objective of making this language effective.
Television isconsidered as the most effective meansof mass communication, its impact on the young and teen population is incredible. To impart information &training to Students regarding television’s day programme, one of the activities conducted in the First term was to make a quality program for television by analysing, arranging andorganising a normal day show having promising effect on their viewers.
The Program list had:
- Suprabhata
- Yoga
- Morning News
- Bhagavad-Gita chanting
- Drama
- Krishidarshan
- Quiz
Different group of students worked cohesively to attain their target to the best of their capacity. They understood the importance of quality programme which has a lasting impression on a huge volume of population.
This club activity made the students more responsible, thoughtful, confident, and complaisant.
