Imbibing this quote and to mark World Anti-Drug Day NPS, Kengeri had organised an Orientation Programme on ‘Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking’, on 29th June, 2024 for Grade VIII, IX and XI students. Mr. Hanumantha Addimani, Police Sub-Inspector, Mr. Manjunath Daddimani, Police Sub-Inspector and Ramesh ASI, Kengeri Police Station were the Guest Speakers for the session.
Guest Speakers, Mr. Hanumantha Addimani, Police Sub-Inspector and Mr. Manjunath Daddimani, Police Sub-Inspector of Kengeri Police Station emphasized on the harmful intersections associated with drug abuse to raise awareness of the major problem that illicit drugs represent for society. They urged to amplify combined efforts to combat the global drug problem, guided by the principles of science, compassion, and solidarity. The second session was concluded with the message on the collective action and a commitment to consider evidence-based solutions, to create a world where individuals are empowered to lead healthy, fulfilling lives.
Vice-Principal, Mrs. Suman Sigh and Coordinator graced the session and agreed to combat collectively. The programme was concluded with a heart felt videos depicting the illicit consequences of Drug Abuse with a message to ‘Choose Life, Not Drugs’.
