Hindi Diwas Celebration

The students and the staff of N.P.S Kengeri celebrated Hindi Diwas in school on 15th September 2015 to mark the importance of our national language and also country’s most widely spoken language with great fervor and enthusiasm.

A special programme marked the occasion with lighting the lamp by the Principal followed by ‘SaraswatiVandana’.

Mrs. Anju Saxena Head of the Hindi Department enlightened the audience about the history and significance of Hindi language. Hindi Department team members Mrs. SumithaJha, Ms. Anuja & Mrs. Nagaveni supported and cooperated for the programme.

The plethora of events for the celebration was Hindi rhymes by bubbly students of K.G, Grade I& II portrayed a cute dance on Hindi swars & vyanjan, students of Grade IV & V sang a lovely song on the significance of Hindi language. Sita’s character was enacted by our talented student Ananya of std VII followed by scintillating Kathak dance performance by grade VIII & IX.

The highlight of the event was ‘Hasya Samachar’ which made the audience laugh to the fullest and also won everyone’s heart.

After witnessing the entire programme, the Principal spoke to the students on the significance of Hindi language. She said, “Hindi is our national language and we should strive to keep up its standard. In our thirst for exploring new horizons of knowledge and learning new languages, we shouldn’t forget our national language Hindi.”
