Picnic to My Native Village
Picnic to "MY NATIVE VILLAGE" (Grade I to IV)
National Public School, Kengeri had organised a picnic for the students of grade I to IV in “MY NATIVE VILLAGE” Resort, Hesaraghatta on 5th February 2016, Friday.
The journey started with a lot of enthusiasm from both the students and teachers end. We were welcomed by the team of Desi attired staff of the Resort. A light breakfast was washed down by a drink; set us start the day with great energy.
There were a few games like catapult, kite flying, tree swing, tug of war etc., which gave an opportunity for this generation of children to experience the old age games.
There was a pond surrounded by green grass that was an added attraction. The bullock cart ride gave a difference to the usual comfortable luxury car rides to the students.
Fun, frolic, dance, games, swimming were part of this picnic, coupled with sumptuous and delicious food. The students felt the air of the very basis of Indian culture, the villages; witnessed the natural red soil and herbal water.
On the whole, this picnic provided a rich experience to the students. The students returned back from the picnic with the same enthusiasm.
