REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION

A Report on the 66th Republic Day of India Celebrated at NPS Kengeri

The 66th Republic Day of India was celebrated at NPS, Kengeri with a great deal of patriotic zeal and commitment. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. To mark the importance of this day, a grand celebration was held in the school, and many activities were planned in the school premises. The school auditorium echoed with patriotic fervour and enthusiasm as the children drew scenes of Republic Day celebrations; spoke about the significance of Republic Day; declamations of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose and The great Bhagath Singh; sang patriotic songs and even wore tri-coloured clothes to mark the occasion. The students brought the stage alive with their passion and love for the motherland.

Mrs. Geetha Dikshit, the school principal, addressing students reminded about the school motto ‘Reach Out; Reach High; Reach Beyond’ and how the students of today hold the future of their country in their hands. It is important for the welfare of the country that its present generation should realize that the future is in their hands. She passionately spoke about the current issues for the young children of NPS. She requested the entire fraternity to be a part of the cause and be responsible citizens of tomorrow.
